No Luck

One time a young man was complaining to me that he couldn’t get any break from his career. Every time he does something, something comes up to disrupt it. When I did an in depth analysis of his lifestyle I discovered he has a very negative perception of human nature. He thinks humans are cunning and manipulative.  When I analyzed his personal relationships, the same pattern emerges. He deceives and hurts people , then he wonders why he couldn’t get breaks. How we view human nature shows how we behave as human beings.

Before religious people will claim its “karma” at work, there is a logical explanation. If his reputation spreads that his jerk in his personal and work life people will get discouraged to recommend him for work. Because in truth,  there is no such thing as a separate ethics for work and personal life. You can’t be unethical in the work place and it won’t spill at home, or be unethical at home and not be unethical in the work place.
